CAMHSReportage is a NHS-net/N3 based patient record system specifically tailored for the requirements of CAMHS. It has been developed in association with the DOH and CORC team responsible for the compilation of the Minimum Dataset.
- It recognises the unique information requirements of CAMH services which cannot be met through simple modification or extension of adult mental health or paediatric information systems
- Its straight forward and easy data entry and report creation capability allows for mapping at the push of a button.
- CAMHSReportage provides clinicians, management and administration staff with the flexibility to select and manipulate any combination of fields within the dataset into automatically generated reports.
- The database has been created using web based technology allowing for multiple access by users on a Trusts intranet.
- CAMHSReportage can only be accessed via the NHS-Net allowing, thus ensuring patient confidentiality.
The CAMHSReportage system comes with a variety of built in extras:
- A full booking system and diary.
- A standard patient letters system.
- Numerous reports tailored for management, administrative and clinical use.
- Intuitive search.
- Research reports for complex data queries.
CAMHSReportage fully complies with the CAMHS minimal dataset as outlined in the booklet:
National CAMHS Dataset
Supporting Information Needs for Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services
by Karen Tingay and Samuel M. Stein.
The booklet has been distributed to all the CAMHS trusts and forms the basis of all future CAMHS databases.
